Aviation News – After four weeks of high-tempo flying, fueling, and launching missions, Misawa Air Base’s 35th Fighter Wing has concluded Exercise Resolute Force Pacific 2025. Known as REFORPAC, it is the largest U.S. Air Force contingency exercise in the Pacific, involving 12,000 personnel and 400 aircraft across 50 sites over 3,000 miles.
The exercise tested Agile Combat Employment and joint force integration, with F-16s flying from dispersed locations and support teams operating around the clock. Hundreds of temporary duty personnel quickly integrated into Misawa’s tempo, while U.S. and Japanese forces partnered closely on fueling, runway repairs, and aeromedical drills.
“REFORPAC validated our ability to project and sustain airpower anywhere,” said Col. Paul Davidson, 35th FW commander.
As the exercise ends, Misawa’s focus returns to daily operations, carrying forward the readiness, teamwork, and regional strength refined during REFORPAC.
