Aviation News – Alaska Airlines has introduced its first-ever global livery—an aurora borealis-inspired design featuring sweeping blues and greens accented with retro-style midsection stripes reminiscent of its 1970s and ’80s heritage. This bold new look will adorn up to 17 Boeing 787‑9 Dreamliners, marking a shift in visual identity as the airline ventures into international markets.

The first aircraft with the new livery is due in January 2026, and the full transformation will be complete by spring of that year.
