Le Bourget, Paris – June 18, 2025 –
Embraer (NYSE: ERJ / B3: EMBR3), a global leader in aerospace innovation, announced today at the Paris Air Show that Bridges Air Cargo will become the first operator of its new E190F passenger-to-freighter (P2F) conversion, in partnership with lessor Regional One. The first of two E-Freighter conversions is scheduled to enter service with Bridges Air Cargo in Q3 2025.
A subsidiary of Bridges Worldwide, a key player in international express logistics, Bridges Air Cargo supports mission-critical operations for global logistics giants such as FedEx, DHL, and UPS. The addition of the E190F strengthens its role in high-performance, time-sensitive cargo transport.
“We’re proud to launch the E-Freighter as we celebrate 35 years in the express logistics sector and over one billion kilograms of cargo moved,” said Guy Bridges, Managing Director of Bridges Air Cargo. “This aircraft addresses a crucial gap in the cargo market, enabling us to expand our reach and efficiency. We see the E190F as a game-changer for regional air freight, and we’re thrilled to collaborate with Embraer and Regional One on this important milestone.”
The E190F conversion offers a unique solution for underserved cargo markets, combining optimized payload capacity with right-sized economics for regional routes. This launch reinforces Embraer’s push into freighter aviation, capitalizing on the growing demand for flexible and fuel-efficient cargo aircraft.
