This summer we will do some short articles about airshows, fly-ins, events, museums, military exercises under the title Summer Special.

Maldives Air Wing primarily operate two Dhruv helicopters and a Dornier 228 aircraft donated by the Indian Government.

The Indian Dhruv helicopters are stationed in Addu City and flown by Indian military personnel.

The Indian aviation platforms have provided humanitarian and medical evacuation services to the Maldivians.

Drones

Six Baykar’s Bayraktar TB2 unmanned aerial vehicles were delivered to the country and are currently stationed at Maafaru International Airport in Northern Maldives.
