This summer we will do some short articles about airshows, fly-ins, events, museums, military exercises under the title Summer Special.

On Sunday May 12, 2024 at the Swiss Airfield Biel-Kappelen LSZP toke place a Fly-In for former aircraft of the Swiss Air Force. This year the Swiss Air Force celebrates its 110th anniversary. Some twenty former Swiss Air Force aircraft were present at this small airport located in Switzerland, situated in a picturesque area, surrounded by the beautiful Swiss landscape.

One of the highlights for the visitors who came in large numbers was the performance of the Swiss Air Force Super Puma Display Team which performed its show up to 2 times.

Of the former Air Force aircraft, many of which were privately owned, Bücker Jungmann and Jungmeister were widely represented.
There was much more to be seen such as Fieseler Fi 156 “Storch”, Morane D-3801, Nieuport 23, Stinson L-5, Harvard IIb, Messerschmitt Bf-108, Pilatus P2-06, Pilatus P3-05, Piper PA-18 and Mustang Replica.
