Embraer E190-E2 2-RLET (Profit Hunter) Embraer

Fokker Services Asia, a subsidiary of Fokker Services Group (“FSG”) – a global leader in aircraft maintenance, modifications, completions, and conversions-, is proud to announce that it has obtained Part 145 Maintenance Organization Approval from the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) to provide aircraft maintenance services to the Embraer E190 Series in their Seletar Airport facilities (Singapore).

As a result of this certification, FSG will be able to conduct a wide range of heavy maintenance, base maintenance, and lease transition services on Embraer E190 aircraft registered in Australia. This newly-acquired certification puts FSG in a unique position to provide comprehensive support to customers in Australia not only for Fokker and ATR aircraft but now also for Embraer aircraft. Moreover, it represents an opportunity to establish a brand new service line for Embraer operators in Asia Pacific, as the E-Jet Family of aircraft expand within the region.

According to Thomas Kennedy, Managing Director of Fokker Services Asia (Singapore) “Obtaining the new (E-190 Family) aircraft capability represents a great milestone in our company.  We are thankful to all our business partners for supporting the efforts to develop this capability on-time and on-target. This is a reflection our team’s high-level of engineering expertise at the core. It also confirms our commitment to Alliance Airlines as a long-term business partner in supporting their fleets and our shared growth and success in the Australia region”.

“FSG’s unwavering commitment in securing this certification is commendable. We certainly are appreciative that FSG now has the capability to support our Fokker fleet as well as our fleet of Embraer E190 Series aircraft. We’re excited about the possibilities ahead for both of our organizations”, said Scott McMillan, Managing Director of Alliance Airlines.
