Jazeera Air from Kuwait has joined efforts for greater connectivity to India.

On Tuesday, Kuwait’s Jazeera Airways urged India to raise the restriction on air traffic between the two countries, reiterating Dubai’s Emirates’ call for greater access to India.

The existing weekly allocation of 12,000 rupees, according to CEO Rohit Ramachandran, is insufficient to reflect current economic trends.

Kuwait has requested that the ceiling be raised to 28,000 tickets, and talks are ongoing, according to Ramachandran.
