Two ACH160 helicopters have been ordered by Airbus Corporate Helicopters in India.

The customer, an expert helicopter pilot, will get the helicopters with the ACH160 Exclusive configuration for commercial use. In accordance with the contract, Airbus Corporate Helicopters will offer a turnkey solution to guarantee the seamless integration of both helicopters into service.

Airbus Helicopters executive vice president for global business Olivier Michalon stated, “We are happy to announce this landmark deal for two ACH160 helicopters for our Indian customer. We appreciate their innovative thinking, and I have no doubt that the introduction of this helicopter into service would raise the bar for helicopter operations in India, particularly for private aviation and upscale charters.

Airbus Helicopters is honored to play a significant role in the “Aatmanirbhar Bharat” initiative of the Indian government. Olivier Michalon continued, “This new order, the first for any helicopter in the H160 range in India, further demonstrates our commitment to the Indian market where more than 120 Airbus helicopters are already operational.

With 68 new Airbus patented technology, the ACH160 is the newest member of the ACH family and the most technologically sophisticated helicopter in existence.

It offers 35% larger windows than its rivals and 20% more capacity per passenger than previous generations of medium twin helicopters, creating the brightest cabin in its class.

The sophisticated air conditioning system of the ACH160 offers very effective air exchange, accurate temperature regulation, and ideal cabin air quality. The mood-lighting feature of the ACH160 Exclusive edition helps to lessen weariness.
