Textron Inc. announced that it has signed a purchase agreement for three more Bell 407GXi aircraft with Global Medical Response (GMR). The delivery of the aircraft is expected to be completed by the end of 2023.
The three Bell 407GXis will be added to GMR’s fleet of 220 Bell helicopters, which are used for emergency medical operations across North America. Lane Evans, the director of North American Sales, stated that Bell is proud to support GMR with these versatile aircraft. GMR is the largest medical transport company in the world, transporting over 125,000 patients in 2021.
The Bell 407GXi aircraft will help GMR to better serve its communities by allowing emergency responders to reach patients in need. The Bell 407GXi provides advanced avionics and communication suites, making it a critical tool for medical transport. Bell has a long-standing partnership with the Air Medical Services industry and has nearly 500 HAA-configured aircraft in operation.
