flydubai has announced it has canceled 65 B737MAXs on order with Boeing. The move comes after the airline conducted a post-COVID fleet assessment. In 2013 and 2017 the flydubai ordered a total of 251 B737MAXs, consisting of 131 B737-8s, 70 B737-9s and 50 B737-10s. It’s unclear which variants have been canceled.
Currently the airline operates thirteen B737-8s and three B737-9s, alongside 36 B737-800s.
