Today a F-5E Tiger II (J-3089) of the Swiss airforce crashed in an uninhabited area near ‘Melchsee-Frutt’ a mountain sesort at 1920 metres above sea level.

According to the first reports the pilot has ejected from the jet and is unharmed. No casualties are reported on the ground.

A full investigation to get to the cause of the crash has been started.
