EgyptAir Vice President Ahmed Adelhas confirmed that the missing plane’s debris was found Thursday.
Cairo — Searchers have found the wreckage of the EgyptAir Airbus 320, which crashed in the Mediterranean Sea on Wednesday night with 66 people on board, EgyptAir Vice President Ahmed Adel announced on Thursday. The company received a letter from the Egyptian Foreign Ministry which confirms that the debris belong to the missing MS804 flight.
EgyptAir Flight MS804 departed from Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris at 23:09 GMT. The aircraft was heading for Cairo International Airport. According to the airline, there were a total of 66 people on board the plane, including 56 passengers
