Fokker Technologies, a division of GKN Aerospace, is pleased to announce that Amaszonas, located in Bolivia, has entered into a five year ABACUS program for its fleet of CRJ200 aircraft. As part of this support program, Fokker will exchange and repair all rotable components of Amaszonas’ CRJ200 fleet on a ‘Power-by-the-hour’ base.
Hoofddorp, NL.
In 2015 Fokker extended their comprehensive rotable components support program ‘ABACUS’ by adding the Bombardier CRJ aircraft family and signing Air Nostrum as launch customer. Amaszonas is now the second CRJ customer to sign up for this program.
Sergio de Urioste, Executive President Amaszonas Linea Aerea: “Amaszonas is pleased to enter into this important relationship with Fokker covering substantially all rotable components on our Bombardier CRJ aircraft fleet. The customized approach Fokker employs within the ABACUS program offered Amaszonas a long term solution which we are confident will produce the desired results in terms of cost as well as fleet reliability.”
Leon Kouters, Vice President Marketing & Sales for Fokker Services, Inc.: “We are excited and honored that Amaszonas, a very well respected South American regional airline, has selected Fokker for the support of their CRJ200 aircraft fleet.
