The Russian Helicopters company will introduce modifications to five of its helicopters and a new unmanned aerial device (UAV) at innovation exhibitions across the country next week, the company’s press service said Friday.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The Days of Innovations of the Southern, Western and Central military districts are scheduled for October 5-6 in the southwest city of Rostov-on-Don, Kubinka in Moscow Region, and Yekaterinburg respectively.
“The company will introduce modifications of Ka-52K, Mi-26T2, Mi-8AMTSh-VA helicopters and a VR-Technologies UAV in the Moscow region,” Russian Helicopters said.
VR-Technologies is a subsidiary of Russian Helicopters, and both are part of the Rostec state technologies corporation.
The Ka-52K Alligator is a naval modification of the Kamov Ka-52 attack helicopter. The Mil Mi-26T2 Halo is an all-terrain multipurpose transport helicopter. The Mi-8AMTSh-VA variant of the Mi-8 twin-turbine helicopter is modified for use in the Arctic.
Russian Helicopters will unveil the Mi-35M transport and attack helicopter, and the Mi-28NE “Night Hunter” export-oriented attack helicopter in Rostov-on-Don.
