Bishwo Airways is a private airline, registered in Nepal in the summer of 2014. Bishwo Airways is a subsidiary of Bishwo Holdings, a diversified Nepalese investment holding company based in Singapore with Mr. Ashish Man Shrestha as the presiding chairman. Airbus 330-200 featuring the airline’s fleet will initially be operating flights to Saudi Arabia, UAE and Malaysia with further expansion of its route network to Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
Bishwo Airways is entering the market with Airbus A330-200 in the fleet. The SSJ100 will ensure certain additional benefits. Bishwo Airways will be able to develop domestic and regional markets with SSJ100 aircraft until demand for them becomes appropriate for a larger aircraft with a higher capacity. With more Airbus aircraft in the pipeline for long haul flights, Bishwo Airways plans to attain SSJ100 aircraft to have a fleet that can efficiently cater the needs of short haul destinations as well.
SSJ100 aircraft with a range of up to 4500 km, along with several wide-body aircraft in the air fleet, will allow Bishwo Airways to plan its operations in a flexible and efficient way.
