MARIETTA, Ga., May 15, 2014 –The 61st Airlift Squadron at Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas, received another C-130J Super Hercules airlifter on May 15.
Lt. Gen. Brooks Bash, vice commander, Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, ferried the aircraft from the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., facility in Marietta, Ga. Bash is a command pilot who has logged more than 6,500 flight hours throughout his career.
The 61st, which has operated C-130s since 1956, is part of Air Mobility Command’s 19th Airlift Wing.
