The Navy accepted the final C-130T Hercules aircraft updated with digital cockpit modifications from BAE Systems this August. This final delivery culminates the overhaul of 19 C-130T aircraft, which transitioned from obsolete analog gauges into the digital age. Each aircraft is now equipped with a Garmin GNS 480 GPS, an Electronic Flight Bag, Electronic Horizontal Situation Indicator and Engine Instrument Display System. The newly configured C-130T provides improved navigational capabilities and ease to Hercules aircrew. These modifications will ensure C-130Ts remain viable leading up to additional upgrades as part of the Avionics Obsolescence Upgrade program, scheduled to begin in 2016. (U.S. Navy Photo)
