All Nippon Airways Co. (ANA) Saturday said it will cancel 379 flights in February due to the grounding of Boeing-787 Dreamliners.
The cancellation of the flights, 245 on domestic routes over 12 days from Feb. 1 and 134 on international routes over 18 days, is expected to affect around 24,300 travelers, local media quoted ANA.
The number of ANA flight cancelations has risen to 838 since the Jan. 16 emergency landing and is expected to affect 82,000 travelers in total, according to Japan’s leading news agency Kyodo News.
The international flights to be cancelled are on nine routes, including those connecting Tokyo’s Narita Airport and three cities- – Seattle, San Jose and Seoul (Incheon International Airport), as well as those connecting Tokyo’s Haneda Airport and Frankfurt and Seoul (Kimpo airport), said reports.
