Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil, October 1st, 2012 – Embraer is pleased to welcome TUI Travel PLC (“TUI”), one of the world’s leading leisure travel companies, to its E-Jets’ family of customers. The Group will lease two EMBRAER 190 jets under an agreement with BOC Aviation, a Singapore-based aircraft leasing company. The two E190s will be delivered in the first half of 2013 to Jetairfly, the Belgian TUI subsidiary.
Jetairfly’s E190s will be configured with 112 slim line seats in a single-class layout. The E-Jets will allow the airline to provide capacity more economically on lower-demand routes that are currently served by larger narrow-body equipment. The E190s are also intended to be deployed in winter markets where seasonal demand is better satisfied with 100-seat aircraft.

Customers are flying their E-Jets in a range of business models. Jetairfly’s use of the E190 for scheduled tour operations is in addition to E-Jets flying in mainline, low-cost and regional airline networks.

That means more nonstop flights and shorter travel times for our passengers. It’s a tremendous advantage in our business.”

Since entering revenue service in 2004, Embraer has delivered nearly 900 E-Jets. Today, 60 airlines from 40 countries are flying the versatile 70 to 120-seat, four-aircraft family of aircraft.
