EagleMed operates an extensive fleet of Beechcraft King Air fixed wing and Eurocopter AStar rotor wing aircraft. These newest AStars are being completed by Metro Aviation. All the company’s aircraft are completely configured for mission critical transports and medically equipped to transform the aircraft into “flying ICUs.”

EagleMed is a privately-owned and operated critical care air medical service provider that was founded in 1982. Based in Wichita, Kansas, the company operates 25 aircraft servicing a eightstate area in the Midwest. It gained accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Services in 2000, and since August 2009, EagleMed LLC has been operated as a subsidiary of Air Medical Group Holdings Inc.
