A body has been found inside a British Airways jumbo jet landing at Heathrow Airport.

British Airways said the corpse was inside the  landing gear bay of a Boeing 747 after it arrived at the London airport from  Cape Town in South Africa.

Authorities in South Africa said a man was spotted jumping a fence at the  transport hub before running towards a BA flight as it waited to take off   last night.

The death is being treated as non-suspicious. Inquiries are being made to establish the man’s identity.
