Smart Parts Program to support Eurolot in Strengthening the Operational Efficiency of their Q400 NextGen Aircraft as of entry-into-service

Bombardier Aerospace announced today that it has signed a five-year agreement under its Q400 Smart Parts program with Eurolot S.A. of Warsaw, Poland. –Following the first delivery of Eurolot’s Q400 NextGen aircraft in May 2012, the parties finalized a Smart Parts agreement which is customized to the airline’s specific operational requirements. It will provide Eurolot with competitive and predictable advanced component exchange and repair costs, as well as superior availability of key components for its fleet of Q400 NextGen turboprop airliners from entry-into-service through to 2017.

As part of its fleet renewal and route expansion program, Eurolot ordered eight Q400 NextGen airliners from Bombardier and holds options on another 12, making it the first operator of Q400 airliners in Poland. Eurolot began operations in July 1997.

With more than 25 years’ experience in providing cost protection and budget predictability for its customers, Bombardier is uniquely positioned to deliver optimal maintenance and support solutions. There are currently more than 1,000 Bombardier business aircraft enrolled in Bombardier’s Smart Services programs, including the pioneering Bombardier Smart Parts plan, covering over 80,000 components. Since its initiation, Smart Parts has continued to expand with the adoption of Q400 Smart Parts by regional carriers worldwide.

Eurolot is the third airline to sign a Smart Parts agreement in the last two months. Most recently, European Q400 aircraft operator Luxair extended its Smart Parts agreement for an additional five years. Republic Airlines has also recently agreed to terms for Smart Parts coverage for its 32 Q400 aircraft.
