Fokker Services Asia celebrates the opening of its new centre of excellence for heavy maintenance and support of regional aircraft platforms at Seletar AeroSpace Park in Singapore. The new 80m free span hangar and office complex can accommodate 3 regional aircraft. Fokker Services Asia currently has capabilities to maintain Fokker and ATR models and will be adding capability for another platform in the course of this year.

This marks the first phase of an ambitious growth plan to take advantage of future opportunities in the Asia Pacific region as increasing deregulation, economic growth and improving infrastructure drive growth in regional aviation. With future plans including the expansion of logistic services, and the setting up of component repair capabilities in Singapore, it further demonstrates Fokker Services’ long term commitment to the Asia Pacific region.
