Fokker Services and Alliance Airlines of Australia have entered into a 3-year component management agreement to support Alliance’s expanding Fokker fleet. This agreement is the result of a comprehensive tender process conducted by Alliance to identify a core group of component support suppliers to provide repair services on the basis of fixed price and turnaround time ensuring predictability of cost and parts availability.
Fokker Services is proud to be one of the selected suppliers and sees this agreement as an important element in ensuring the continued competitive operation of the Fokker fleet at Alliance Airlines. This agreement further strengthens the strong and long-standing relationship between Fokker Services and Alliance Airlines.
During the Australian Aerospace show at Avalon earlier this year, Alliance and Fokker Services signed an MoU making Alliance a partner in the FLYFokker program which is intended to provide new, and existing, Fokker operators with comprehensive life-cycle support. Under this MoU, Alliance would offer Fokker 100 wet-lease services for potential new operators in the Asia-Pacific region.
As the Type Certificate holder for the Fokker types, Fokker Services has also been assisting Alliance with the introduction of the recently acquired Fokker 100’s and Fokker 70’s into their fleet, providing documentation, data, modifications and spares support to ensure a smooth in-service introduction of these aircraft.
Alliance operates a fleet of 18 Fokker 100 jets, two Fokker 70 jets and five Fokker 50 turboprops, for contract and charter operations within Australia and beyond on regional international routes.
