Pratt & Whitney Signs Exclusive Maintenance Agreement with Jetstar Pacific Airlines

Pratt & Whitney, a United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX) company, has signed an exclusive maintenance services agreement with Jetstar Pacific Airlines to provide engine overhaul services on the airline’s fleet of CFM56-3 engines.

Under the exclusive two-year agreement, Pratt & Whitney Global Service Partners will provide engine overhaul services for five Jetstar Pacific Airlines CFM56-3 engines, which will help the airline reduce engine overhaul costs and turnaround time thanks to the Pratt & Whitney Global Service Partners network’s extensive capabilities and customer-tailored solutions.

Based in Ho Chi Mihh City, Jetstar Pacific Airlines is Vietnam’s first low-cost carrier. With this agreement, it becomes the first non-China-based CFM56 airline operator to sign an exclusive agreement with Pratt & Whitney Global Service Partners.
