The regional airline NOK Mini in Thailand has leased two Saab 340Bplus from Saab Aircraft Leasing and started operations on April 1st. Eight secondary cities in Thailand’s northwest and northeast provinces will be serviced with daily flights from DonMuang airport in Bangkok.
NOK Mini is a codeshare partner with NOK Air, a successful low-cost carrier famous for its colourful B737s based on local Thai birds. The NOK Mini 340s are painted in a similar way and will for sure liven up every airport in its network.

The Royal Thai Air Force is operating the special version Saab 340AEW as well.
