OceanAir Linhas Aereas S.A., doing business as Avianca in Brazil, and Fokker Services have agreed to a FLYFokker Take Care Flight Hour agreement for the rotable component and technical support of their 14 Fokker 100 aircraft. As part of the Take Care solution guaranteed Turn Around Times for rotable components is included.
Fokker Services developed the Take Care solution for existing operators as part of the total FLYFokker program. It focuses on increasing Technical Dispatch Reliability (TDR), reducing Direct Operating Cost (DOC) while improving passenger comfort.
Ocean Air has been a customer of Fokker Services for many years starting with the Fokker 50’s and now with the Fokker 100’s. “We are very pleased we signed this contract with Ocean Air, a highly regarded customer in Brazil where the Fokker aircraft has been servicing passenger since the first F27 operation†says Erik Goedhart, VP Marketing & Sales Fokker Services.
