DENVER, Colo., March 15th, 2011 — Lockheed Martin Commercial Launch Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Lockheed Martin Corporation [NYSE: LMT], announced today that it has been chosen by DigitalGlobe (NYSE: DGI) to launch that company’s next-generation, high-resolution Earth-imaging satellite, WorldView-3, on an Atlas V rocket. The commercial imagery satellite is scheduled to launch in 2014 from Vandenberg AFB, Calif. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Lockheed Martin Commercial Launch Services, which markets the Atlas V to commercial customers worldwide, is a unit of Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company, a major operating unit of Lockheed Martin Corporation.
