Airbus A318 Elite will have largest cabin at Asian Aerospace

Offers more space and comfort than any other business jet.

Airbus will have the largest aircraft cabin on display at Asian Aerospace with an A318 Elite, which features a wider, taller and more spacious cabin than any of the other aircraft being shown, while having a similar length and wingspan as traditional large business jets.

The A318 Elite seats up to 19 passengers in unequalled comfort, space and style, and has the range to fly nonstop to most cities in Asia-Pacific as well as to fly intercontinentally.

Most passengers want to take into the sky the kind of comfort and space that they enjoy at home or in the office, and the A318 Elite allows them to do this, with a lounge, dining area, private office that converts to a bedroom, and bathrooms.

The A318 Elite on display at Asian Aerospace is operated by BAA Jet Management Ltd of Hong Kong, which was the first in the region to fly the type.

Airbus has a strong presence in the growing Asia-Pacific corporate jet market, where it has won more than 25 sales to date, most of them in China.

Most corporate jet customers and operators prefer to remain undisclosed, but those which can be named include BAA Jet Management of Hong Kong, China Sonangol, Deer Jet of Beijing, the Royal Thai Airforce, Skytraders of Australia and the UB Group of India.

Airbus has the largest and most modern corporate jet family in the world, with aircraft offering more space, comfort and freedom of movement than traditional business jets.
