G550 and G450 Business Jets Will Be On Static Display Feb. 9-13
Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. will display two of its large-cabin business jets at Aero India 2011, an air show and aviation exhibition held biennially in Bangalore.
The company’s static display will feature the large-cabin, ultra-long-range Gulfstream G550 and the large-cabin, long-range G450. The aircraft will be available for viewing Feb. 9 – 13 at Air Force Station Yelahanka in Bangalore.
Several members of the company’s sales team will be on hand for the five-day air show, including Roger Sperry, regional senior vice president, International Sales, and Jason Akovenko, regional vice president, Asia-Pacific.
A media preview is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 8, at the Sitara Room in the Leela Palace Kempinski, 23 Airport Road, Bangalore. The session, featuring Sperry, will include program updates for Gulfstream’s two newest jets: the ultra-large-cabin, ultra-long-range Gulfstream G650 and the large-cabin, mid-range Gulfstream G250; and details on the company’s sales and support presence in the region.
“Our fleet in Asia-Pacific has grown dramatically over the past decade,†said Sperry, regional senior vice president, Gulfstream. “That is especially true in India, where the number of aircraft has grown from five aircraft in 2001 to nearly 20 in 2011. Aero India provides an opportunity for our customers to learn more about the advanced technology, superior craftsmanship and outstanding performance of our aircraft.â€
