Lufthansa Technik is to provide a Total Component Support agreement (TCS®) for a selected number of components for Air New Zealand with immediate effect. The contract is for components utilized on the New Zealand national carrier’s Boeing 777-200 and 777-300 aircraft. The signing of the contract signifies the first time that Air New Zealand has engaged the services of Lufthansa Technik.

“It is an exciting time for Air New Zealand with our new Boeing 777-300 aircraft entering service this month, and we are pleased to have Lufthansa Technik as one of our key support partners,” says Vanessa Stoddart, Group GM Tech Ops and People.

“We are delighted to have a new partner in Air New Zealand and will be working towards a long-term support partnership with them,” said Robin Johansson, Director Sales South East Asia & Australia/Pacific at Lufthansa Technik. “The contract is also very special for us as with Air New Zealand we have succeeded in gaining a key customer in New Zealand for the first time.”
