AMMAN – Royal Jordanian, Jordan’s flag carrier, has plans to increase its 2010 revenues by 12% over figures achieved in the previous year, the airline’s president and chief executive said at an annual conference concluded in Amman Sunday.
Hussein Dabbas also said that the carrier plans to increase passengers transported by 10% compared with the year earlier period.
The national airline said in a statement earlier this week that it had achieved 598 million Jordanian dinars ($845 million) revenues and it had transported some 2.7 million passengers in 2009.
The carrier will introduce two new routes–one to Madinah Munawarah, Saudi Arabia and the other to Kuala Lumpur, he said.
