Belgian carrier Brussels Airlines is set to join Star Alliance next month, following a year-long integration process which has also seen the carrier replace its loyalty scheme with Lufthansa’s Miles and More programme.
The airline is in the process of being acquired by Star Alliance founder carrier Lufthansa, and was integrated into the Miles and More programme on October 26. It will now become a full member of the Star Alliance group as of December 9.
Brussels Airlines is the Belgian airline offering the widest choice of flights to and from the “capital†of Europe. With a fleet of 45 aircraft the airline operates some 300 daily flights to 55 European airports and also serves 16 African destinations.
