Today, as part of Moscow Airshow, the Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company, Yakutia AirlinesGovernment of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and Finance Leasing Company announced the signing of the Purchase Agreement for the delivery of 2 Sukhoi Superjet 100/95 aircraft.
Under the Agreement signed, Yakutia Airlines is to upgrade the company’s fleet with 2 SSJ100/95 aircraft. The delivery of the first jet is scheduled for February 2011.
“With the Sukhoi Superjet 100 in Yakutia’s fleet, the airline will be able to solidify its positions in the market and operate commercially efficient aircraft. Still further, SSJ100’s characteristics will bring Yakutia more success on its regional routes “, mentioned Vladimir Prisyazhnyuk, SCAC’s President. Ivan Prostit, Director General of Yakutia Airlines, says, “Sukhoi Superjet 100 is an economically efficient, modern and comfortable aircraft, meeting all international requirements to service, maintenance and comfort. SSJ100 will help us provide our passengers with added comfort aboard, offer safer flights, expand our route networks and make the current flights more regularâ€.
