Paris: June 17th.

Today at the Paris Hotel Crowne Plaza, contracts were signed for the Bahrain Air Show 2010.

The high class air show will be held January 21-23 2010 at Sakhir Airbase, Bahrain.

The show is presented as a Five Star facility airshow with an all chalet setup and no exhibition halls.

Companies can display there product all most directly in front of their chalet to make a presentation and offer test flights if needed.

Everything will be arranged by the Kingdom of Bahrain in cooperation with Farnborough International Limited, from chalet to catering.

Over 40 countries will be present at the “small, Niche” airshow. The organization is certain the event will grow to be a major salon in the near future.

In the afternoons a spectacular airshow will be presented by the Royal Bahrain air force, The US air force / 5th fleet along with other states from the region including the Royal Jordanian Falcons. Also options are open for UAV demonstrations.

The dates of the air show are carefully planned with in mind the best optimal weather conditions, and the combination with airshows in the region at the same period. Expectations are that around 5000 traders will visit the show each day.

In the surroundings of Sakhir airbase there will arrangements for private visitors to see the airshow in the afternoons.
