BAE Systems Asset Management has won an exclusive mandate from Colombian flag carrier Avianca for the remarketing of a Boeing 767-300ER wide body airliner.
Hamish Davidson, Executive Vice President Business Development at BAE Systems Asset Management, said today: “This important mandate for the Boeing 767-300ER reflects the growing reputation of our remarketing services which encompass all aircraft types. Our world-wide reach coupled with our robust marketing processes will allow us to identify the best opportunities and choices to place this aircraft for Avianca.â€
The aircraft, which was built in 1992, bears manufacturers serial number 25287 and is powered by twin Pratt & Whitney 4060 engines.
Asset Management has developed a strong plan to promote this attractive aircraft to a wide range of potential buyers, including existing Boeing 767 customers, operators which have ordered Boeing 787s or Airbus A350XWB and need interim capacity until these delayed aircraft are delivered, as well as into the freight or VIP conversion markets. In addition to marketing the aircraft Asset Management will use its extensive experience and relationships in aircraft leasing and finance to help bring deal opportunities for the Boeing 767 to a conclusion.
