Fokker Services is since last year in dialogue with the US authorities about our investigation which identified that certain activities haven’t been in-line with certain trade restrictions of the United States. It has come to our attention that some of the components sold or repaired should have been considered as falling within the trade restrictions. These restrictions can apply to components with more than 10% US content. Such products are not to be transported to embargoed countries. The results of an extensive follow-on investigation by Fokker Services were immediately brought to the US authorities’ attention.

The respective activities were a small part of Fokker Services’ portfolio and are a limited part of the whole business.

Fokker Services takes these issues very seriously, and has taken steps to fully remediate the activity. Today, Fokker Services has an enhanced compliance program to help ensure that these same mistakes are not made again.

Fokker Services is cooperating fully with the US authorities.
