According to its balance of trade circulated Thursday, February 3, the European aircraft manufacturer Airbus has registered 20 net orders in January, after the deduction of 12 cancellations, and delivered 33 planes in January.
The subsidiary of European aerospace group EADS reported a total of 32 gross orders in the first month of the year but has faced cancellation of 12 orders for long-haul A330-200 freighter version from a customer whose name was not released. Indian cargo company Flyington Freighters is no longer mentioned in the list of Airbus customers, indicating that it is probably the cause of the cancellation. The balance sheet accounts for the month including the contract for six Airbus A380 jumbo jet by the South Korean Asiana Airlines.
