Specialists of CSTS Dinamika accomplished work on the part-task trainer that is an auxiliary crew station for the Su-24M aircraft.
This development is part of the program on a training complex for aircrew and engineering staff of Navy shore-based attack aviation for the “Fencer-D†aircraft.
Besides an auxiliary crew station the complex is to include a full flight simulator and CBT for training and conversion training of the aircrew and engineering staff of the Su-24M type.
Furthermore, the auxiliary crew station has an option of modernization up to M2 variant by replacing software.
The complex serves for tactical training of attack aviation flight crews, training and conversion training of aircrew and engineering staff, monitoring performance effectiveness in various conditions at the battle-ground, and EATP. The main peculiarity of the complex under development will be its wide area networking capacity.
The Su-24M PTT comprises computer complex, monitors to imitate on-board panels, instrument panels and out-of-the-cockpit view, as well as joysticks, imitators of control sticks and engine controls, footplates, etc. simulate combat applications navigator’s work station is equipped with imitators of weapon controls. All these enable navigator to train targeting and weapon system employment. Upon the customer’s request joysticks can be easily replaced with imitators of control sticks and engine controls, manufactured with the help of 3D scanner and 3 D printer for higher fidelity.
The main component of the training complex, the Su-24M FFS, is to be completed by early autumn.
