ATR Launches First All-Business Class ATR 72-600 With Berjaya Air

Aviation News – ATR has delivered the world’s first ATR 72-600 equipped with its new HighLine “All-Business Class” cabin configuration to Berjaya Air in Kuala Lumpur, marking a significant step forward in premium regional aviation. The milestone signals a new approach to short-haul air travel, combining luxury-focused seating with the operational efficiency of turboprop aircraft.

The newly delivered aircraft represents a double milestone for ATR and Berjaya Air. It is Berjaya Air’s first ATR 72-600, while also serving as the global launch aircraft for ATR’s HighLine premium cabin collection. Earlier this month, the new cabin concept received certification from European Union Aviation Safety Agency and Malaysian aviation authorities, clearing it for worldwide commercial deployment.

The HighLine “All-Business Class” design transforms the traditional regional turboprop cabin into a more exclusive travel environment, offering passengers enhanced comfort with a semi-private flying experience. By pairing premium interiors with the fuel efficiency, lower emissions, and operational flexibility of the ATR 72-600, the concept aims to redefine how airlines approach short-haul premium routes.
