Aviation News – Brazilian aerospace giant Embraer delivered 44 aircraft during the first quarter of 2026, marking a significant 47% year-on-year growth compared to the same period in 2025. This production surge signals a robust start to the year, driven by successful internal initiatives to level manufacturing output across its diverse portfolio.
The Commercial Aviation division saw a 43% volume increase, handing over 10 new jets including three E195-E2 models, the company’s largest and most efficient commercial aircraft. Meanwhile, Executive Aviation remained a powerhouse of activity, delivering 29 light and midsize jets as global demand for private travel continues to hold firm.
The Defense & Security sector also showed a marked recovery, delivering five units in total after a quiet first quarter the previous year. These deliveries included four A-29 Super Tucano light attack aircraft and one KC-390 Millennium, the company’s flagship multi-mission military transport jet.
This operational success stems from Embraer’s production leveling initiatives, which aim to smooth out the manufacturing cycle and reduce the typical end-of-year delivery rush. By stabilizing the assembly line, the company has improved its operational efficiency, allowing for a more consistent flow of aircraft to global customers while maintaining high technical standards.
