Aviation News – REGENT Craft has secured an order for 30 all-electric Seaglider vessels from XXV, a private members club, marking a new step in high-speed coastal transportation in the United States. The deal underscores growing demand for faster, quieter, and more seamless connectivity between coastal hubs.
The agreement introduces a new customer category for REGENT Craft, expanding beyond traditional transport operators into premium mobility services. XXV selected the 12-passenger Viceroy Seaglider for deployment across U.S. coastal destinations, aiming to offer members a distinctive dock-to-dock travel experience built around speed, comfort, and exclusivity.
The Viceroy Seaglider operates from the water’s edge, rising onto hydrofoils before transitioning to flight just above the surface in ground effect. Capable of speeds up to 180 miles per hour on routes of up to 180 miles, the all-electric vessel delivers a smooth ride through congested ports while reducing noise and emissions, providing an operational bolt of innovation for coastal transport.
“Seaglider technology opens a new chapter in coastal mobility, combining the convenience of marine travel with the speed of aviation,” REGENT Craft said, noting that demand from premium mobility operators reflects confidence in the platform’s commercial and experiential value.
Looking ahead, the XXV order signals broader opportunities for Seagliders in luxury travel and regional transport markets, as operators seek alternatives to conventional ferries and short-haul flights. REGENT Craft expects the growing interest to accelerate adoption across coastal regions worldwide.
The deal highlights how electric, ground-effect vehicles are moving from concept to commercial reality. With U.S. deployment planned and a premium operator on board, REGENT Craft is positioning the Seaglider as a transformative option for fast, sustainable coastal travel.
