From rescue operations, piloting and a calamity show, to competitions between sailing ships, rowers, and Royal Navy commandos and paratroopers reenacting their missions.

Calamity show

Every day there is a simulation of an emergency situation on an inland tanker. Smoke and explosions recreate a realistic scenario. The rescue team jumps into action to rescue drowning people, while a KNRM vessel prepares injured persons for transport by the AW189 Coast Guard helicopter. Meanwhile, a patrol vessel from DHMR extinguishes the fire on the bow and an oil spill control vessel from HEBO cleans up spilled oil. After a final check, the vessels sail out of the show area in formation.
