How is ATR contributing to net-zero carbon emissions?

ATR ATR-72-600 TS-LBH Tunisair Express

Climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our time and we, at ATR, have a robust plan to address its consequences and contribute to the industry’s goal of net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.

Aligned with the Paris agreement, our emission reduction objectives have been set by applying the ‘Science-Based Target initiatives (SBTi)’ methodology, which uses the latest knowledge from climate science.

We are now in the process of submitting these reduction targets to the SBTi certification, which we aim to achieve by 2023, and which will guarantee the robustness of our approach to build our strategy.

It is ATR’s responsibility as the world leader in regional aviation to drive the transition to a more sustainable future. Our low-carbon strategy is the go-to document to better understand where we need to focus our efforts, as we all have a role to play to ensure we reduce drastically our emissions and come up with tangible solutions together with our partners and suppliers.
