Combines Airbus and CAMP expertise to benefit customers

18 November 2015

Airbus corporate jet customers and operators can now benefit from a wider range of computerised maintenance planning services, following an agreement concluded with CAMP. Acropolis Aviation of the UK, currently offering an Airbus ACJ319 for VVIP charter and the launch customer for the ACJ320neo, has become the first customer for the new service.

Airbus, as the manufacturer, defines the maintenance tasks that operators need to carry out to ensure the continued airworthiness of each of its modern aircraft families. These tasks are typically broken down into digital job-cards, adapted to each specific aircraft.

The new service, “CAMP for ACJ”, brings together two leaders in the business. Airbus, with an unequalled in-depth knowledge of its aircraft, and CAMP, with its expertise in computerised maintenance management services, to give customers and operators access to a single, integrated, solution.

It does this by combining Airbus’ expertise in maintenance programme customisation and technical documentation with CAMP’s computerised aircraft maintenance management.

“We are committed to helping customers and operators to get the best from their Airbus aircraft, and this new service answers their needs,” says Benoit Defforge, Managing Director Airbus Corporate Jets. “CAMP for ACJ is a fully digital solution, available on any computer, smart-phone or tablet with internet access,” he adds.

Airbus corporate jet customers already have access to support and services tailored to their needs, such as single-point-of-contact access to the corporate jet customer care centre (C4you) team, dedicated customer support directors, and customised maintenance programmes.

They also benefit from the technical advice, spares and training network that spans the globe, around the clock, in support of Airbus’ more than 500 customers and operators. More than 170 Airbus corporate jets are in service around the world, on every continent, including Antarctica.

CAMP is an industry leading specialist in the provision of maintenance management services for corporate jets, and already provides its service for around 70 Airbus corporate jets.
