US State Department Approves Possible $243Mln Drone Sale to Spain

The US State Department has approved a potential $243 million sale of five MQ-9 Reaper Block drones and associated equipment to Spain, US Defense Security Cooperation Agency said in a press release on Tuesday.

Drone and radar solutions provider General Atomics Aeronautical Systems from San Diego, California, will be the principal contractor for the sale, according to the press release.
