Vulcan XH558 flies over IWM Duxford as part of its V-Force Tour

The last flying Vulcan, XH558, undertakes a spectacular two-day V-Force Tour of the UK on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 June as part of its final flying season .

The V-Force tour pays tribute to the three aircraft that carried Britain’s first nuclear deterrent – the Vulcan, Victor and Valiant.

Vulcan XH558 bids farewell to the 17 locations where the remaining V-Force aircraft now reside. As part of this tour, the Vulcan will fly over IWM Duxford at approximately 2.08pm on Sunday 28 June.

See Vulcan XH558 fly over IWM Duxford’s historic airfield. Then, visit the AirSpace exhibition, where you can explore around and underneath the museum’s Vulcan aircraft. Stand under the immense bomb bay doors and experience the sheer size and might of the type of aircraft that you’ll have just seen in action in the skies over Duxford.
