NAWCWD hosts War Eagles at Point Mugu

The War Eagles, aka patrol squadron 16, park the P-8A Poseidon on a ramp at Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC), Point Mugu on April 6. Hosted by Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, the squadron visited NBVC to take part in pre-deployment training. The War Eagles have been home based at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida since their establishment in 1953 with the mission to operate maritime patrol services to the fleet in support of national interests.
