24th Super Galaxy Ferried to Stewart Air National Guard Base, New York

MARIETTA, Ga. Feb. 16, 2015 – A U.S. Air Force crew ferried the 24th C-5M Super Galaxy from the Lockheed Martin [NYSE: LMT] facilities here today.

Aircraft 86-0022 was ferried by a U.S. Air Force crew from Travis Air Force Base, California. The C-5M will be flown to Stewart Air National Guard Base, New York, where it will undergo internal paint restoration before arriving at Travis AFB. It will be Travis’ sixth Super Galaxy.
