SAO PAULO, Brazil, March 19, 2012 – GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing unit of GE, announced delivery of a new Boeing 737-800 aircraft to Panama’s Copa Airlines to expand its fleet. The aircraft comes from GECAS’ existing order book with Boeing.
Copa currently operates a fleet of 73 aircraft to more than 70 destinations in North, Central and South America and the Caribbean.
